GameSim has capabilities to process various geospatial source data formats, including imagery, elevation, features, and point-clouds, to procedurally construct a complete 3D visual representation. This unified representation can be used to perform visualization and analysis. Because the visual representation is procedurally constructed it is not limited to many of the visual artifacts founds in techniques that attempt to directly polygonalize point-clouds. GameSim's procedural generation scripts can ingest various attributes about the physical feature (e.g., a building's height, footprint, roof-type, surface material, roof slope) to construct a clean 3D representation. The next step in this research is to automatically derive the input attributes from modern source data formats, such as LiDAR.
